Pastry & Bakery Roles
Do you love creating breads, desserts, and pastries that delight every guest? We’re looking for talented pastry & bakery professionals to join our team and craft memorable culinary experiences.
Prepare and produce a variety of pastries, breads, desserts, and baked goods in line with recipes and quality standards.
Assist in developing new recipes, seasonal items, and creative menu concepts to enhance the bakery offering.
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control for all baked products.
Monitor ingredient levels and assist in inventory management, ordering, and proper storage.
Maintain hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP) at all times during preparation and storage.
Operate and maintain baking equipment such as mixers, ovens, and proofers safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure the timely preparation and delivery of items.
Follow kitchen schedules and production plans to meet outlet and event requirements.
Minimise wastage by practising portion control and proper handling of ingredients.
Support in training and mentoring junior staff or apprentices as required.

Joud Coffee (“Joud”) was founded in 2015 with the mission of introducing speciality coffee to Abu Dhabi.
After opening our first cafe in the Al Bateen, we have expanded to neighbourhoods across the city where each location offers a uniquely designed space for our community to gather and experience our delicious food, pastry, and coffee offerings.
We are proud to roast our beans in small batches at our roasting facility in Abu Dhabi, sourcing them through ethical and sustainable direct trade partnerships that connect us to coffee growers and traders around the globe.
Today, Joud has its presence in more than 11 locations and continues to grow within the region.
